On September 30, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the delegation led by the Executive Director, Secretary General of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (Foundation) Sabine Fandrych, Armenian Parliament’s press office reports.
Positively evaluating the activities of the Foundation in Armenia, the RA NA President thanked Sabine Fandrych for the different programmes implemented in our country, which have significantly promoted the establishment of democratic institutions and the increase in the level of human rights protection.
Thanking the NA President for the reception, the Executive Director of the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation, in turn, spoke about the effectiveness of the Foundation’s activities in Armenia, adding that their programmes will be of an ongoing nature.
Besides the above-mentioned topics, the interlocutors also discussed issues regarding the regional security and the democratic reforms being implemented in Armenia.
