Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Arthur Poghosyan, has participated in the 2025 Global Public Security Cooperation Forum in the city of Lianyungang in east China's Jiangsu Province, which brought together nearly 2,000 participants from 120 countries, regions and international organizations for discussions focusing on addressing global public security challenges through enhanced cooperation.
The event featured discussions about "Joint strategies: Addressing global public security risks and challenges in the new era," "Innovation leading the way: Enhancing public security capacity building and technical cooperation," and "Unified action: Building a more comprehensive mechanism for global public security cooperation".
In addition, eight sub-forums were held, covering areas including tourism security and international police education cooperation, Armenpress reports. Poghosyan's office said he attended an official reception hosted by Wang Xiaohong, the Minister of Public Security of China, at the end of the conference.
