Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that since the beginning of September, Russian forces have launched more than 1,300 drones, nearly 900 air bombs, and up to 50 different types of missiles targeting Ukraine. In recent days, strikes have hit Kharkiv, Odessa, Kherson, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv, and other cities. According to Zelensky, Ukraine's civilian infrastructure was once again targeted last night.
“Russia continues to prolong the war, turning diplomacy into an open farce,” said the Ukrainian president. He also emphasized that “President Trump is right—there is a need to limit the purchase of Russian oil and gas.”
Zelensky has called on international partners to strengthen anti-Russian sanctions and provide security guarantees for Ukraine. Meanwhile, Russia's Ministry of Defense reported that Ukrainian forces targeted Smolensk, Bryansk, Belgorod, Kaluga regions, and Krasnodar Territory during the past night. A total of 34 UAVs were destroyed. Casualties have been reported in Belgorod Region.
