“For more than 35 years, Armenia and Azerbaijan have fought. A bitter conflict that resulted in tremendous suffering for both nations. And now they're friends, and they're gonna be friends for a long time”, US President Donald Trump said at a meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
"It is a great honor to welcome everyone to the White House for this historic summit between Armenia and Azerbaijan. I want to extend a warm welcome to two wonderful leaders for coming to Washington to sign this historic declaration," Trump said.
