Ambassador Andranik Hovhannisyan participated and delivered remarks at the Helsinki+50 Conference, which marked the anniversary of the Helsinki Final Act.
In his speech, Ambassador Hovhannisyan stated in particular:
“The principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and inviolability of internationally recognized borders of OSCE participating States continue to be challenged.
Neither the UN Charter nor the Helsinki Final Act permit the use or threat of force to resolve disputes. While Armenia has endured such breaches committed against it, we also recognize that adherence to the principles of the Final Act remains vital in building peace, security, and good-neighborly relations.
Armenia believes that the pursuit of peace can once again unite us, just as it did half a century ago.”
