The issue of not paying for Armenia's membership in the CSTO may be discussed after December 31, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin said.
"These are exclusively procedural, statutory requirements. From what perspective it will be considered is another matter. Everyone understands that Armenia, which has frozen its membership in the CSTO, does not participate in decision-making, but does not hinder it either," the diplomat said.
Turning to the question of whether negotiations are underway in Armenia to resume servicing Mir system cards, Pankin replied that Armenian banks have concerns about secondary sanctions.
"I cannot say whether there are such negotiations or not, I do not participate in them," Pankin said.
