The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Kingdom of Cambodia, Suren Baghdasaryan (with the residence in Hanoi), presented his credentials to His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, the King of Cambodia, in the capital city Phnom Penh.
During the tête-à-tête meeting following the ceremony, King Sihamoni congratulated Ambassador Suren Baghdasaryan on assuming his mission and wished him success and productive work aimed at strengthening the friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between the peoples of Armenia and Cambodia. The King conveyed his warm greetings to the President, Prime Minister, and people of Armenia, wishing peace and progress to the country.
The King expressed his confidence that Armenia and Cambodia have significant potential to deepen cooperation in trade, tourism, education, culture, and other areas, as well as within international organizations, particularly within the framework of La Francophonie.
Ambassador Baghdasaryan, in turn, reaffirmed the Armenian side’s readiness to work jointly to enhance bilateral political dialogue, develop economic ties, organize high-level mutual visits, and promote cultural and educational exchanges.
