Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan sent condolences to his colleague from India.
“It is with deep sorrow that I learnt about the tragic passenger plane crash at Ahmedabad airport. I extend my sincere condolences to Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and friendly people of India, and my wishes of strength to the families of all affected by this heartbreaking accident”, Mirzoyan said in a post on X.
All 242 people on board the Air India plane that crashed on Thursday (June 12) in Ahmedabad have died, local newspaper Indian Express said, citing police, Reuters reports.
The plane bound for London crashed minutes after taking off from India's western city of Ahmedabad in one of the country's worst aviation disasters.
