Armenian Ambassador to Malta Vladimir Karapetyan has presented the copy of credentials to Deputy PM, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism Ian Borg.
Karapetyan is Armenia’s Ambassador to Italy and concurrently covers Malta and San Marino.
Ian Borg congratulated Ambassador Karapetyan on taking office and wished him success, expressing hope that his activities will boost the bilateral ties, the embassy said in a readout.
Ambassador Karapetyan thanked for the warm reception and good wishes. He assured that he will make maximum efforts to elevate the Armenia-Malta political dialogue to a new level, as well as enhance bilateral partnership in the economic, cultural, tourism and other areas.
The Armenia-Malta partnership agenda, as well as cooperation in international platforms were discussed. Views were exchanged around the efforts for establishing peace in the South Caucasus region.
