Several Indian districts of Jammu and Kashmir have come under heavy shelling by Pakistan, the Hindustan Times reported. The districts of Uri, Poonch and Kupwara, which are located along the Line of Control, were targeted in the attack.
Electricity is out in the towns of these districts, sirens are blaring.
The Indian PTI (Press Trust of India) agency reported a drone attack by Pakistan on Srinagar airport.
Reuters, in turn, reported 10 explosions in the airport area.
