French Ambassador to Armenia, Olivier Decottignies, lauded Armenia's progress in the World Press Freedom Index.
“Armenia, ranked 34th out of 180 countries in the Reporters Without Borders 2025 World Press Freedom Index, is making further progress. It is establishing itself as a haven of freedom in the region. By supporting Armenia, we are supporting a democracy that shares our values,” the French diplomat wrote on
X.
