The Armenian Foreign Ministry expressed condolences to the Iranian Government on its X page.
"We are deeply saddened by the tragic explosion in Bander Abbas which resulted in numerous casualties. Our deepest condolences to the Government and friendly people of Iran as well as to the families and loved ones of the victims. Wishing a speedy recovery of those who were injured," the statement reads.
A powerful explosion occurred in the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas, resulting in deaths and injuries. April 28 has been declared a national day of mourning in Iran.
