The Iranian Foreign Ministry wants to see the US willingness to reach a fair and real agreement during the indirect talks in Oman. This was stated by the official representative of the Islamic State, Esmail Baghaei.
“Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and the accompanying delegation arrived in Muscat to participate in the third round of Iranian-American talks being held under the mediation of the Omani Foreign Minister. We are determined to protect the legal and legitimate rights of the Iranian people to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, and at the same time, we are ready to take reasonable steps to provide guarantees that our nuclear program will be used exclusively for peaceful purposes. An objective and rapid cessation of the illegal and inhuman sanctions against the Iranian people is a priority for us. It remains to be seen how serious the other side is and whether it is ready for a fair and realistic agreement,” Baghaei wrote on his X page.
