“On 24 April, we commemorate the victims of the Armenian genocide which started 110 years ago. Remembering and learning from the past, politicians have a duty to work for a better future. Time for Armenia-Türkiye normalisation to proceed”, he said.
Ushakovs also attached a photo to his post.
“This stamp serves as a historical testament to the solidarity shown by the people of Riga, who gathered aid for the victims of the genocide 110 years ago. I took this photograph in 2015 at the Armenian Genocide Museum in Yerevan” he said in a post on X.
