The complex of trilateral agreements of the highest level, which you noted, is fully relevant. We repeat this, I believe, every week, answering questions. Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated this at Thursday’s press briefing.
This is how she responded to a reporter's question about how Russia can contribute to the implementation of the trilateral agreements it had reached with Armenia and Azerbaijan between 2020 and 2022.
According to the Russian MFA spox, the earliest possible resumption of full-fledged cooperation in the aforesaid trilateral format "will certainly contribute to the establishment of stable peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus."
"And, of course, we are ready to provide assistance to our Azerbaijani and Armenian colleagues in all key domains of reconciliation between the two countries.
Within the framework of the trilateral specialized working group co-chaired by the deputy prime ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, we have excellent developments in the matter of unblocking transport and economic communications.
We [i.e. Russia] are ready to share our experience in border delimitation and demarcation. And our specialists in this domain, it seems to me, are recognized as one of the best in the post-Soviet space. We also have unique cartographic material. We can help solve the humanitarian problems that have accumulated over the course of the years of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. We will only be happy.
I repeat: I will not say anything new. We are always happy to help our Azerbaijani and Armenian friends advance the process of normalizing of [their] relations," Zakharova added.
