A memorandum of intent on cultural cooperation has been signed between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia and the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
The document was signed by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, and the German ambassador to Armenia, Claudia Busch.
“Relations between Armenia and Germany have gained new momentum, especially in the field of culture. And this document is evidence of the expansion of cooperation,” Andreasyan said during the signing ceremony, and emphasized the effective implementation of joint preliminary programs of the two countries.
In turn, Ambassador Busch noted that this memorandum of intent is a solid basis for more solid cooperation between Armenia and Germany.
“The German side attaches importance to the deepening of bilateral cooperation, especially in the fields of culture and education,” said the German Ambassador.
Within the framework of the memorandum of intent, the two parties will encourage the exchange of experience and specialists between relevant institutions and organizations of the two countries, as well as cooperation in the cultural spheres.
The establishment and operation of institutions that strengthen cultural and educational cooperation in Armenia and Germany will also be encouraged.
