Reuters. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Monday (March 17) said Russian President Vladimir Putin is the one prolonging the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Speaking in his nightly video address, Zelenskiy said he spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron to coordinate their positions ahead of a planned conversation between U.S. President Donald Trump and Putin on Tuesday.
"Tomorrow marks a week since the U.S. proposal for a ceasefire in the sky, at sea, and on the front lines was put on the table," Zelenskiy said. "This proposal could have been implemented long ago. Every day in wartime means human lives."
