Egypt welcomed the conclusion of negotiations on a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, saying it would help end the conflict and bring stability to the South Caucasus, the Arab Republic’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
A Foreign Ministry statement described the agreement as a culmination of efforts by both countries over recent years. It expressed hope that the two sides would sign the deal at the earliest possible opportunity.
