Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, unfortunately, refuses to accept the pragmatic reality of war in his country, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said on
Fox News.
According to her, US President Donald Trump wants this war to end, and the American people are tired of paying hundreds of billions of dollars for war. Leavitt noted that President Zelensky is not grateful to the United States enough.
The White House Spokesperson said that the planned agreement was to provide economic prosperity for the Ukrainian people and restore American taxpayer money, but the deal did not go through due to Zelensky's "rude and hostile behavior."
"We are no longer going to write blank checks for war in a distant country without real, lasting peace," Leavitt noted.
