The strategic directions of Armenia-Iran cooperation were touched upon, and the need to ensure regional security and stability was highlighted.
The interlocutors emphasized the need to promote peace and mutually beneficial partnership in the region and based on the principles of territorial integrity and national sovereignty of countries.
The Ambassador and the Iranian Vice President discussed as well the prospects for expanding Armenia-Iran economic and energy cooperation, and reaffirmed the importance of developing and implementing long-term programs.
