US President Donald Trump said he does not rule out a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“It’s possible, yes, it’s possible,” Trump said, responding to a question about the possibility of a high-level meeting with the Russian President.
Trump said he has always had a “good relationship” with the Russian leader. He also noted that what is happening in Ukraine saddens him.
“This conflict has to end,” the US President said.
Trump also said he intends to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the coming week, which could also take place in Washington.
“I will most likely meet with President Zelensky next week,” he told reporters.
Trump said he had informed Zelensky about the US’ equal pay for Ukraine spending.
"Nobody will use the United States anymore," he said.
