The Kremlin, asked on Wednesday (February 5) about contacts with the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump over Ukraine, said that there have been contacts at the ministerial level and they have been intensifying recently, Reuters reports.
Asked about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy's words that he is ready to negotiate with Putin, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that it sounds like empty words, as such readiness 'cannot be based on a legislative ban on such negotiations for Zelenskiy.'
