Azerbaijani special services have carried out an operation against a terrorist group linked to international extremists, the State Security Service reported.
"The militants had planned terrorist attacks in the Hussar region and had created underground hideouts with weapons and explosives. During the special operation, several participants, including their leader, were destroyed, and the suspects were detained. The investigation is ongoing," the statement said.
