The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq welcomed the statement of the Republic of Armenia on the recognition of the State of Palestine.
Iraq also called on the international community to "assume legal responsibility and implement resolutions in accordance with international law in a way that guarantees the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and the realization of their legitimate national aspirations."
