Arayik Harutyunyan, President of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), received the members of the Union of Officers of the Artsakh Reserve Force.
At the request of the participants of the meeting, the head of state presented the military-political situation around Artsakh, referred to the meeting held on March 1 with the representatives of Azerbaijan with the mediation of the command of the Russian peacekeeping troops stationed in Artsakh.
The President noted that during all the meetings held so far, including the one on March 1, exclusively technical, humanitarian and infrastructure related issues were discussed.
“Negotiations regarding the status of Artsakh can take place only in an internationally recognized format and through the realization of the right to self-determination of the people of Artsakh,” the President said, emphasizing that the authorities of the republic are committed to the provisions of Artsakh's fundamental documents and mother law.
The President of Artsakh also answered other questions of interest to the officers of the reserve army.
