At the extraordinary session of the Parliament, Armenia’s Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan answered the question whether there is a clause in the text of the peace treaty that is agreed upon bilaterally.
“I have to say something sad, but there is one clause on which there is an agreement: to establish diplomatic relations within the framework of the Vienna Convention. There is no clear agreement on all other clauses,” Grigoryan said.
To remind, yesterday, in a briefing with journalists, Armen Grigoryan stated that the Armenian side is making efforts to sign the peace treaty as soon as possible.
Referring to the work on the text of the treaty, Grigoryan said the following.
“Azerbaijan gave the text of the peace treaty to Armenia. The Armenian side worked on that text and gave the answer to Azerbaijan, and a meeting was held in Washington. After discussions in Washington, Azerbaijan transferred to Armenia its version worked on that text. Armenia is working now, making its additions and changes to that text, we will send it to Azerbaijan soon.”
