Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Egypt exchanged letters of congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
In his letter, Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has particularly noted that Armenian-Egyptian relations are distinguished by historical friendship and mutual trust between the two peoples, in which the Armenian community of Egypt has a special role. The minister has greatly appreciated the high-level political dialogue with Egypt, as well as the formed mutual support on multilateral platforms. The minister also mentioned that in the past years, strong interstate ties have been established between Armenia and Egypt, developing and deepening bilateral multi-sectoral cooperation.
On the occasion of this significant anniversary, the Foreign Minister of Armenia expressed his conviction that Armenia and Egypt will contribute to the further strengthening of mutual cooperation and enhancing the bilateral agenda to the benefit of our peoples and countries.
Sameh Shoukry, the Foreign Minister of Egypt, extending his congratulations to the Armenian Foreign minister, mentioned that the Armenian-Egyptian relations have always been characterized by constructive cooperation and mutual respect. The bilateral cooperation has always been, and is still, fruitful and yielded considerable landmarks in various fields.
The Foreign Minister of Egypt has noted that Egypt pays great importance to further consolidating our bilateral relations in areas of common interest such as trade, energy, infrastructure and pharmaceuticals.
