The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT), together with the Anti-Terrorism Department of the Ankara Security Directorate, carried out an operation to detain 30 foreigners suspected of having links with the Islamic State terrorist organization, TV channel Haberturk reported on Thursday, December 30th.
On the basis of the decision of the Ankara Prosecutor’s Office, 23 arrests have already been made, the search for the rest continues. The detainees were taken to the police station for interrogation. They are assumed to be involved in the actions of ISIS in the zones of military conflicts. The detainees’ citizenship is not specified.
