Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan referred to his visit to New York, within the framework of which he met with the OSCE MG Co-Chairs, as well as with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan.
“The resumption of discussions and the negotiation process on this scale is definitely welcome, it is definitely in the interests of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. We state once again that the problem is not really solved. You know, Azerbaijan likes to say that the problem no longer exists!
But this is another proof, assurance from the world, the international community that the problem exists, requires a solution, that the search for a solution must take place under the mandate of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair,” Mirzoyan said.
Armenia’s Foreign Minister also touched upon the issue of the return of Armenian prisoners of war held in Azerbaijan.
