The servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent provided targeted humanitarian aid to 20 large families in remote villages of Nagorno-Karabakh.
As part of the humanitarian action, Russian peacekeepers made a 100 km march from Stepanakert to the village of Aghavno and the town of Berdzor (Lachin) and handed over kitchen and food sets to large families.
Over the current week, the officers of the humanitarian response center have provided humanitarian aid with a total weight of about 2.5 tons to more than 300 people who have fallen into difficult life situations.
Russian servicemen individually approach the provision of targeted assistance to citizens living near the contact line. Residents of remote areas are regularly provided with basic necessities – clothing and shoes for children and adults, washing powders, gas burners for cooking, kitchen equipment, food sets, bed linen sets, pillows, blankets, personal hygiene items, children's toys, as well as individual first-aid kits.
