All Armenians are determined to stop all threats of genocide against the Armenian people. NA Speaker

The RA NA Chairman Ararat Mirzoyan issued a message on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Baku.

"In January 1990, the local Armenian population was subjected to a systematic and mass massacre in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

The massacres in Kirovabad, Sumgait and Baku became part of the policy of Azerbaijani state hatred of Armenians and ethnic cleansing. This anti-Armenian policy continued during the second Artsakh War, which was accompanied by numerous horrific crimes against the peaceful population of Artsakh.

Regardless of this difficult situation and the blows it has got, all Armenians are determined to continue living and creating in their homeland and to stop all threats of genocide against the Armenian people",  Mirzoyan wrote in particular.
