Thousands of people demand snap elections on Baghramyan Avenue.
People gathered in front of the National Assembly building during the extraordinary sitting of the Parliament. The Prime Minister urged to join the protest against the draft law on National Assembly regulation. According to Pashinyan, the objective of the bill is the prevention of snap parliamentary elections.
The bill, authored by the Republicans, was approved by the parliament. The RPA, the Prosperous Armenia Party and the ARF voted in favor of the bill. Nikol Pashinyan announced that the anti-revolutionary process had begun.
Thousands of people started demanding snap elections on Baghramyan Avenue. Protests were organized also in the regions. People gathered in the squares of Gyumri, Vanadzor, Hrazdan, etc.
According to the Constitution, if Prime Minister within 14 days, the Parliament is dissolved. The lawyers say that the Constitution clearly defined the conditions of snap elections.
