Representative of Armenian Delegation to Eurovision Iveta Mukuchyan and the entire delegation have met in Stockholm with the representatives of Armenian community of Sweden.
Representative of Armenian Delegation to Eurovision Iveta Mukuchyan and the entire delegation met with the representatives of Armenian community of Sweden in Stockholm.
The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere. Iveta Mukuchyan represented the contest preparatory process, answering their questions, as well as performed LoveWave by a piano accompaniment.
Iveta Mukuchyan has stressed given the circumstances, she knows what it means to live away from one’s Homeland, and what it means seeing an Armenian abroad. “I am grateful to you for the warm reception. Believe me, I will carry your positive energy with me, when I step on the great stage”, says the delegate.
According to the head of Armenian Delegation to “Eurovision” Gohar Gasparyan, our compatriots in Diaspora have always stood by the Armenian delegate, and have continuously supported them both by their warm wishes, and their votes. “The contest is, indeed, a great chance for Armenia to have its name heard in over 40 countries and for 200 million TV viewers. It is a great chance to get together and show the power of our unity”.
The representatives of Armenian community in Sweden expressed their admiration for Iveta, as well as Armenian delegation and stressed their readiness to support them in every matter. “We are with you, Iveta”, was heard pronounced unanimously.
We would like to remind about Armenian delegation arriving in Stockholm on May 1st, host of “Eurovision 2016’. All the rehearsals of Eurovision participating states are being held in Stockholm, as well as different meetings are scheduled with the organizers and representatives of international media.
Iveta Mukuchyan’s first rehearsal took place on May 2nd, which was considered the best performance of the day according to the voting of media representatives.
“Eurovision 2016” is scheduled in Stockholm, on May 10, 12 and 14: Armenia will perform the 7th at the first semifinal on May 10.
