There are ongoing heated battles on the contact line of Karabagh-Azerbaijani opposing forces. Karabagh armed forces have inflicted adversary great casualties and loss of military equipment, and have taken the initiative in their hands on northeastern and southeastern directions of contact line. Azerbaijani side continues suffering great losses. In general, Azerbaijani military losses comprise 20 tanks, 2 rocket artillery, 6 armored fighting vehicles, 2 helicopters and 3 UAVs. Two “Grad” stations have been shot. Enemy has suffered more than 300 casualties, with lots of wounded. The loss of adversary armed forces, as well as the disorganization of the given situation has caused panic among peaceful civilians. There have been mass flows of population from particularly Tartar, Barda and other districts bordering Artsakh.
Today Azerbaijani units, failed to break Armenian borderline soldiers’ resistance, attempted to use heavy flamethrower systems, including TOS-1 rocket launchers and military UAV s. However, Armenian gunners have destroyed those systems, and have also destroyed an entire Azerbaijani unit that tried to move from reserve to front-line.
