During the event a video bridge was organized for the Armenian peacekeepers participating in the mission of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan and their family members. The event was conducted within the frameworks of “NATO Week” event series held November 10-14 in Armenia.
In his telemessage the Defense Minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan welcomed and expressed gratitude to the Armenian peacekeepers.
British Ambassador to Armenia Catherine Lich, German Ambassador to Armenia Rainer Morel, US Ambassador John Heffern as well as the representatives of the Armenian Defense Ministry and peacekeeping brigade addressed their greetings and wishes.
