On August 14, the first political consultations between the foreign ministries of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Rwanda took place in Kigali, Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
The consultations were chaired by Levon Petrosyan, Head of the Middle East and Africa Department of Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Marie Grace Nyinawumuntu, Director General for Europe, Americas and International Organizations of the Rwandan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The interlocutors emphasized the importance of activating political dialogue, as well as touched upon steps aimed at deepening cooperation in digital technologies, education, healthcare and a number of other areas.
They also exchanged views on issues of cooperation on multilateral platforms. The current developments in the South Caucasus and East Africa were discussed.
