U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Peace Missions Steve Witkoff referred to 2025 August 8 Washington summit between U.S., Armenian, and Azerbaijani leaders saying that it ended 35 years of brutal conflict.

"Because of this President’s leadership, the South Caucasus is safer, more prosperous, and more stable, and the future is bright for these great countries. Honored to be part of this historic administration", Witkoff said in a post on X.
