Russian attacks across several Ukrainian regions over the past day killed at least three civilians and injured dozens more, according to regional authorities.
In Kharkiv region, one person was killed and 22 others were injured after Russia attacked Kharkiv and 15 surrounding settlements with two missiles, seven guided aerial bombs, seven 500-kilogram high-explosive bombs and 39 drones, including Geran-2, Molniya and FPV UAVs.
In Kharkiv city, strikes hit the Shevchenkivskyi, Slobidskyi, Industrialnyi and Osnovianskyi districts. A 40-year-old woman was killed, while a 54-year-old man and a 10-year-old boy were injured. Fourteen other people, including a 17-year-old girl, suffered acute stress reactions. The attack damaged 20 private homes and several vehicles.
Elsewhere in the region, Russian strikes damaged warehouses, a fuel station, 40 garages, an outpatient clinic, residential buildings, educational facilities and administrative buildings. Additional civilians were injured in Izium, Lozova and Zolochiv.
In Sumy region, Russian forces launched nearly 80 attacks on 24 settlements in 20 communities, injuring nine people, including a 15-year-old girl. The military used guided aerial bombs, artillery, mortars, FPV drones and other UAVs.
Residential buildings, shopping facilities, warehouses, vehicles and civilian infrastructure were damaged across the region. The heaviest shelling was recorded in Sumy and Shostka districts.
Zaporizhzhia came under another wave of attacks early on July 27. Russian forces struck the regional capital with guided bombs, FPV drones and Shahed drones. A 67-year-old man was killed when a guided bomb destroyed a private house. Rescue workers pulled a 22-year-old man alive from the rubble, while a 53-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man were injured after a drone struck an apartment building.
Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov said Russian forces carried out 917 attacks on 45 settlements across Zaporizhzhia region during the previous day.
