Russia and Ukraine continue to exchange strikes. Russian forces said they shot down 375 Ukrainian drones overnight across 18 regions of the country, including the Moscow region. Two people were killed in the Bryansk region, including a 15-year-old girl. One person was killed and several others were injured in the Yaroslavl region.
Russian forces, in turn, launched 13 missiles and 151 drones toward Ukraine. Two people were killed in Kyiv, while several others were injured. Port infrastructure in Odesa was also targeted.
Earlier, the chief engineer of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant was killed in a Ukrainian strike on the facility. Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Grossi condemned the attack, saying it posed a threat to nuclear safety. The plant has been under Moscow's control since March 2022 and is currently operated by Rosatom.
