Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan on Thursday participated in the event organized on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America, during which he delivered a congratulatory message, the Armenian government informs.
More than 250 years ago, the values of freedom, independence, and equality became the basis for the creation and sustainable development of the US These values still play an important role in deepening the international standing of the US and its strong friendship with Armenia, Grigoryan noted.
The important achievements of bilateral relations in 2025 and 2026 have a special place in the rich agenda of Armenia-US relations. On August 8, 2025, under the witnessing of the US President, the joint declaration signed between the prime minister of Armenia and the president of Azerbaijan became an important milestone, having a significant impact on both the parties and the entire region, the Armenian deputy premier added.
Today, with the active engagement of the US, Armenia and the South Caucasus have entered a new era of peace and stability. This is also evidenced by the recent visits to Armenia by US Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the signed charter of comprehensive partnership, memoranda of understanding, and the signing of a framework agreement on strategic cooperation on the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project. In addition to being an important guarantee of peace, TRIPP will also be an important hub for regional and global transport routes, Mher Grigoryan stated.
