We are preparing to institutionalize the peace agreement and will continue working in that direction. At the same time, it is important that during this period we were able to finalize the Armenia–United States agreement on the TRIPP project, which has already been signed, and we will soon begin the ratification process, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a session of the National Assembly committees during the opening of discussions on the annual report on the execution of the 2025 State Budget.
“It is important to note that this is truly a game-changing project, because, as I have had the opportunity to say before, Armenia is transforming from a deadlock of conflict into a crossroads of peace. This is, of course, a major event in the life of our country. In 2026, practical work on the ground will already begin.
I would also like to note that, in general, we are carrying out efforts to improve railway infrastructure in Armenia, and a tender has already been announced for the restoration of the Akhurik–Gyumri section, which will be financed through state budget funds. Going forward, we will continue to implement a number of railway-related projects, including in cooperation with international partners,” he said.
