Russian forces have struck military airfields in Ukraine, as well as energy, transport, and fuel infrastructure facilities, the Federal military agency reported.
“In response to Ukraine’s terrorist attacks against civilian facilities on Russian territory, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a group strike using high-precision ground- and air-based weapons, as well as strike unmanned aerial vehicles, targeting military airfields and energy, fuel, and transport infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The strikes achieved their intended targets,” the statement of the Russian Defense Ministry said.
It is also noted that during the past night, duty air defense systems of the Russian Federation intercepted and destroyed 127 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kursk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tula, and Ulyanovsk regions, as well as the Krasnodar Krai, Crimea, and the waters of the Sea of Azov.
