At the International Biodiversity Day, the European Union (EU) will be supporting Armenia in the protection of biodiversity around Lake Sevan, informed the EU Delegation to Armenia.
“The new project, EU4Biodiversity in Lake Sevan, will promote ecosystem restoration measures for biodiversity conservation, ensuring long term sustainability of the Lake. With the new project, the EU will also support the Government of Armenia in the promotion of Nature-based Solutions for wastewater treatment and in activities related to the COP17,” the EU Delegation added.
