The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the meeting between the deputy foreign ministers of Turkmenistan and Armenia, noting that they discussed the prospects for importing fuel from Turkmenistan to Armenia.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmed Gurbanov, who arrived in Armenia to participate in the international conference ‘Yerevan Dialogue’.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including the agendas of upcoming events and mutual visits, as well as cooperation on multilateral platforms.
The parties also discussed the opportunities that have emerged in the context of the established peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including the prospects for importing fuel from Turkmenistan to Armenia.
