The delegation led by Prime Minister of Lithuania Inga Ruginienė, who arrived in Armenia to participate in the 8th Summit of the European Political Community, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex accompanied by Lithuanian Ambassador to Armenia Andrius Pulokas.
The guests were welcomed and guided during the visit by Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hratchya Tashchyan, who presented the history and significance of the memorial complex.
Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė laid a wreath at the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. Members of the delegation then placed flowers near the eternal flame and observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims.
The Lithuanian delegation also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, where they were introduced to the permanent and temporary exhibitions by museum guide Elen Hakobyan.
Following the tour, Prime Minister Ruginienė signed the Book of Honorary Guests.
Expressing gratitude for the visit, Hratchya Tashchyan presented the high-ranking guest with an English-language illustrated book published by the Armenian Genocide Museum.
