Iran-US talks kick off in Islamabad. Earlier, US Vice President J.D. Vance held talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf also met with the Pakistani Prime Minister.
The Islamic Republic delegation is headed by Ghalibaf. The delegation he heads includes Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Secretary of the National Defense Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian and other officials, a total of more than 70 people.
J.D. Vance's delegation includes US President's special envoys Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner and several dozen other delegates.
