32 Armenian citizens returned to Armenia via the latest Muscat–Yerevan flight, according to the Foreign Ministry.
Armenians stranded in the UAE and other Gulf states amid the Middle East escalation and airspace closures have been using the Muscat–Yerevan flights to return home, with the Armenian embassy in the UAE facilitating transfers to Oman for the connection.
The Foreign Ministry said that other nationals are also using the flight to transit to their home countries via Armenia.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry said that from 4-10 March, 253 Armenian citizens were transported by the Armenian embassy in the UAE and the Armenian Consulate General in Dubai from the UAE to Oman for flights to Yerevan.
