Iran's new supreme leader will be elected soon, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in an interview with NBC.
"The interim leadership council is currently the head of Government, and they are performing their functions in the absence of the leader, while the new supreme leader will soon be elected by the Assembly of Experts," Araghchi said.
