Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Iran’s military is not targeting neighboring countries in the Middle East, but only American facilities there. He said that Iran is responding to attacks on its territory by the United States and its allies.
“It is wrong to think that Iran is attacking its neighbors. We are not attacking our neighbors. We are targeting American bases, American facilities, American assets, which, unfortunately, are in the territory of our neighbors. Therefore, we are not attacking our neighbors. We are targeting the Americans who are attacking us,” Araghchi said in an interview with the American NBC television channel.
