Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a condolence letter to Masoud Pezeshkian, the Iranian President, on the occasion of the deaths of Iranian leaders and citizens.
The letter was published by the Prime Minister’s Office on Monday.
“Your Excellency,
We are following the developments around Iran with great concern. Please accept my condolences on the losses recorded among the leadership and citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran. We will always remember the personal role of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ali Khamenei, in the development of Armenia–Iran relations.
At this difficult moment, we sincerely hope for the swift restoration of peace and stability in the Middle East. Taking this opportunity, I wish you patience and strength, and to the friendly and neighboring people of Iran, peace and resilience,” the Armenian Prime Minister said in the letter addressed to the Iranian President.
